Position:Supplier Management Director
Job Description:

RichardsonRFPD is seeking a dynamic and experienced Supplier Management Director to lead and optimize our supplier relationships, pricing strategies, and strategic planning initiatives. This role is pivotal in driving operational excellence and ensuring alignment with our global business objectives. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in the semiconductor, electronics components, and distribution industries, with a proven track record in supplier management and global market engagement.

What You'll Be Doing:

Lead the development and execution of supplier strategies that align with business objectives, focusing on cost optimization, risk mitigation, and innovation.

Work closely with marketing, product management, and sales teams to align supplier strategies with business needs and customer demands.

Develop the product management and pricing initiatives and supplier negotiations to ensure profitable sales dollars for the business unit and maintaining strong relationships with our strategic suppliers.

Provide direction, leadership, and management to asset and product management business unit team.

Oversee the analysis and execution of the business unit and financial inventory plan.

Maintain accountability for analyzing risk for emerging products / markets.

Ownership of SMI and all relative activities to reduce Business Unit SMI.

Ensure business unit performance as measured by sales, gross profit, inventory turns and other goals as established quarterly and annually.

Responsible for establishing and maintaining strategic supplier relationships to drive positive inventory arrangements including scrap, rotations, terms, and other supplier programs.

What We're Looking For:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; MBA preferred.

Minimum of 15 years of experience in supplier management, pricing, and strategic planning within the semiconductor or electronics components industry.

Proven track record of managing global supplier relationships and driving business growth across multiple regions.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to balance tactical and strategic priorities.

Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with experience in executive-level interactions.

Proficiency in organizing events, presenting strategies, and managing complex transactional business processes.

Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in supplier management and distribution.

Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate:$163,800.00 - $173,683.40

Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
