**Job Description**
**_Security Supervisor-Security Department Administration-Mount Sinai Rivington- BI-Full-Time-3-11PM-Evening shift_**
Oversees the Security Main Operations Post-1 to ensure the proper day to day security operations, maintenance of logs by security personnel
**Qualifications**
**_Requirements:_**
+ HS Diploma/GED
+ 6 months of security-related training
+ 3 years experience in security operations preferred
Non-Bargaining Unit, B3T - Security Department Administration RV - BI, Mount Sinai Beth Israel
**Responsibilities**
+ Conducts roll call, inspect and assign personnel to security posts accordingly to ensure proper coverage
+ Inspects security posts to ensure personnel performance and compliance with the duties of the various posts
+ Submits written reports of personnel and security posts deficiencies
+ Reviews, investigates and follows-up reports of incidents/complaints recorded by security personnel to determine accuracy of documentation and resolutions
+ Institutes action to correct any safety and/or security concerns and conduct proper notifications
+ Maintains a chain of communication with oncoming shift supervisors to apprise them of incidents, information or instructions which may affect their shift
+ Responds to emergencies, fire alarms, ect. to assist administrative and medical staff in directives to ensure safety of patients, visitors and staff
+ Acts as liaison with local law enforcement agencies where applicable
+ Conducts fire drills and assess and document overall compliance and performance by all staff members
+ Trains security personnel on the requirements, descriptions and standards of performance for each security post assignments
+ Informs and instructs current security personnel of new and addition policies and procedures
+ Trains and orients new security personnel of overall Medical Center and departmental policies and procedures
+ Takes immediate disciplinary action when job performance is not in compliance with Medical Center and Departmental policies and procedures

**Compensation Statement**
Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $64526.72 - $88900 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
