What we need:
Mohawk is looking for a Production Supervisor to support our Washline operations. This role will be responsible for coordinating resources across multiple shifts to ensure efficiency in manufacturing processes and to meet production goals. Our Production Supervisors lead by example and promote an engaging team environment where everyone owns safety, quality and continuous improvement.
What you'll do:
Supervise the department-specific Manufacturing functions across a shift which includes reviewing production schedules and flake needs to ensure that production requirements within the department are completed according to established production schedules. Also work with other Departments as necessary for production needs Resolve operational, process, and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and production downtime. Schedule personnel and assign work to meet production requirements efficiently and cost-effectively. Ensure adherence to established priorities for production workflow. Assist with planning, developing, and administering departmental procedures, policies, and standards. Ensure organizational policies and procedures are communicated and practiced. Develop appropriate measures or standards for performance and use these to monitor, evaluate, and continuously improve employees and production. Maintain shift reports and records. Verify employee hours worked in time keeping system (Dimensions) daily. Provide consistent and constructive feedback to employees; train, develop, or identify employee training and resource needs. Establish priorities and monitor the quality and quantity of work performed by the department and the individuals within the department. This includes ensuring quality requirements and procedures for the department and plant are communicated, understood, and practiced. Ensure all JSAs and SOPs are followed and monitor all safety aspects of the shift to help ensure the safety of the employees Work with safety committee by attending safety meetings, working on safety projects, completing safety surveys, performing safety training, and ensuring a safe work environment and appropriate employee behavior. Responsible for employee counseling and disciplinary actions. Involves HR for assistance in the resolution of employee relation issues through effective remediation techniques. Maintain accurate records of improvement initiatives, performance metrics, and outcomes. Monitor work quality and adherence to standards, ensuring products or services meet or exceed established criteria. Address and resolve operational issues, conflicts, and challenges that may arise within the team. Perform other duties as needed.
What you have:
High school diploma or GED College degree (preferred) 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing role 3+ years in a senior or lead role (preferred) A willingness to learn on the job and grow your career

This role will supervise up to 50 hourly associates This work environment is a high-traffic production floor, which may include hazardous conditions caused by noise, exposure to heat, risk of shock and airborne particles May be required to work a flexible schedule to include evening and night shifts, weekends and holidays as well as being on call for maintenance related emergencies
