**Job Title: Process Technician** **Job Description** Join our team as a Shift Supervisor, where you will oversee and coordinate the activities within our molding operations. Your role will involve direct supervision of mold setters, process technicians, and plastic injection molding machine operators. **Responsibilities** + Supervise and coordinate molding operations activities. + Manage a team consisting of mold setters, process technicians, and machine operators. + Ensure numerical accuracy and familiarity with procedures and forms. + Identify strengths and weaknesses in alternative solutions through critical thinking. + Communicate mechanical principles effectively to employees and customers. + Provide exceptional supervisory skills, including active listening, monitoring, motivating, and coaching employees. + Deliver effective performance feedback and address employee needs and disciplinary actions. + Coordinate 8-10 mold changes daily, compared to 2-4 changes weekly at other companies. + Work seven days per week if needed to meet customer demands. **Essential Skills** + 5+ years of Process Technician experience. + Ability to set up and adjust molds and conduct preventative maintenance. + Comfortable overseeing 20 operators, 2 process technicians, 2 mold setters, 2 pack & scan, 1 material tech (clerk). + Knowledge of different plastics and materials. + Familiarity with health and safety policies, including enforcing hot resin policy. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word). + Experience with IQMS is a plus. + Ability to work with a diverse group of employees, including refugees from various countries. **Why Work Here?** We pride ourselves on inclusivity and promoting from within, with most higher-level positions filled by tenured individuals.
