Our client, a global manufacturer of machines for the pulp and paper industry, is seeking a **Supervisor of Engineering** to join their team. As a Supervisor of Engineering, will manage, lead and coach the engineering team to achieve local site and regional objectives and goals. This is a great opportunity to quickly advance to the Manager of Engineering role as the current manager is planning on retiring in the next 2-3 years. You will work closely with the Engineering Manager to lead the engineering department and receive training/mentorship to take over leading the engineering department. **Job Title: Supervisor of Engineering** **Location: West Monroe, LA** **Pay: $90,000 - $120,000 + Bonus** **Key Responsibilities** + Motivate and lead direct reports, communicate targets, goals, and expectations to meet site strategy and budget + Provide technical recommendations and support, both to internal and external customers + Investigate problems and lead in facilitating recommendations for improvements to ensure the highest level of quality throughout product offerings and services provided. + Develop and coach team by increasing their roll knowledge, project management, and enhance skill set + Manage shop jobs with an emphasis on customer service, inside sales, and revenue generation.
