Position Summary

Oversees patient care area of department. Ensures patient meals are accurately assembled and delivered. Works with production on monitoring quality of food for patient tray line and short order cooking throughout meal service. Responsible for ensuring that daily supplies for other departments are assembled and delivered. Responsible for monitoring and assisting production and cafeteria/ special functions in the absence of those supervisors.

 

Education/Experience

Associate's degree in management, food and nutrition, culinary arts or other related degree required. Bachelor’s degree is preferred. ·Basic understanding of large volume cooking desired. ·Management experience required. ·Basic knowledge of nutrition. ·Demonstrates good oral and written communication skills. ·Basic computer skills with Windows and keyboard knowledge or willingness to learn. ·ServSafe Certification within six months of hire.
