Supervisor Food Service
POSITION PURPOSE AND SUMMARY

Responsible for coordinating, planning, organizing, directing and controlling the activities of personnel engaged in the preparation of food for the hospital patients, employees and visitors; the assembly and service of meals; and the provision of cafeteria and special function service. 

 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: 

High School Diploma or equivalent required. Proven Management Experience of 2 years or more in the field of the Foodservice Industry Bachelors/Associates degree preferred in management, food and nutrition, culinary arts, human resources or other related degree Possess knowledge of basic foodservice operations, culinary and nutrition Basic knowledge of computer skills and comprehension of software applications are a necessity Demonstrates good oral and written communication skills Completion of ServSafe Certification within 6 months of employment.
