Education:

Associates Degree

Experience:

Min of 4-years security experience

Security leadership experience strongly preferred

Certification:

NC Drivers License

Certified Advanced Healthcare Security Officer (CAHSO) certification by International Association for Healthcare Security & Safety (IAHSS) must be successfully completed and obtained within 90 days of hire

Handle with Care de-escalation training and certification must be successfully completed and obtained within 180 days of hire

This position is responsible for the operations and success of a security department within a division. Supports the security manager in ensuring the safety and security of the division.

Assumes responsibility, accountability, and provides leadership for daily operations, coordination of work, quality and service, and team member supervision in assigned area of operating center. Facilitate the work of assignment teams through the scheduling and assignment of staff, coordination of quality improvement activities, resolution of customer service issues, and management and monitoring or resource utilization. Effectively coordinates operating center work, manages resources, and participates in goal accomplishments.
