Sentara Obici Hospital, in Suffolk, Virginia, is currently hiring a Radiology Supervisor to work a full time, day shift.

Hours

Monday - Friday: Day Shift

This leader will be expected to provide occasional off-hours and weekend support, as needed

Flexibility is essential to support the needs of a continuously operating department

Overview

The Radiology Supervisor oversees MRI and CT services, ensuring high-quality, safe, and efficient operations around the clock. Assumes responsibility, accountability, provides leadership for daily operations, coordination of work, quality and service, and team member supervision in assigned area of an operating center. Facilitates staff management, in a multi skilled, multi-functional environment and coordinates quality improvement activities, resolution of customer service issues, and management and monitoring of resource utilization.

Education

Bachelor's Level Degree (Required)

Extensive successful management of hospital departments may be substituted in lieu of bachelor's degree, but in this case, a Trade School Graduate in Radiologic Technology would be required

Certification/Licensure

ARRT (Required)

MRI or CT certification (Preferred)

Experience

3 years of radiology experience (Required)

3 years of management experience (Required)
