Supervisor, Quality Control (Onsite)

Primary Function

Work with Compliance to provide lead support to Quality Control. Oversight of operational QC audits, audit research, compliance monitoring, and compliance testing.

Principal Duties

Assist in managing the Servicing Quality Control Process Audits program and ACES Audit softwareWork with compliance management to assist in training and remediation activities for business units throughout the organization.Timely submission of departmental metrics and QC audit results on an on-going basisOversee QC audit schedule and ensure all audit responses are complete, accurate, and provided timely.Work with operations to ensure compliance metrics are completed timely and successful.Prepare populations for QC audits and assign QC audits to auditors.Answer QC Auditor questions and give direction to complete QC monitoring and Compliance testing.Perform investor QC audits to ensure investor and regulatory compliance.Use spreadsheets and databases to maintain detailed audit records. Provide monthly reporting to Senior Management on QC operations.Conduct audits to assist in identifying operational risks and escalating issues to Compliance management.Research and review accounts, items, or processes selected for audit.Monitor and make recommendations for smoke detector reports.Quality Control liaison with functional areas.Work with business lines to create and validate remediation plans.Assist in QC completion of all investor audits, regulatory audits, state licensing audits, and any external audits conduct on the business.Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Education and Experience Requirements  

High School Diploma or equivalent required.Bachelor’s degree preferred.6+ years mortgage servicing experience.Prior supervisory experience preferred.Experience analyzing basic processes and data for all supported business units.

Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Requirements  

Experience using and managing Audit Software, preferably ACESStrong understanding of Mortgage servicing related regulations, such as FDCPA, CFPB, Reg XKnowledge of agency and investor Quality Control requirements.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including: Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.Prior management or supervisory experience, preferably in Quality Control or Audit Management.
