Lead 24/7 Manufacturing Team to make in-spec product per production schedule while embracing the 4 manufacturing core principles:

Stewardship – Own stewardship performance for your 24/7 team

Ensures stewardship expectations are understood by the 24/7 teamEnsures 24/7 team conforms to SOP’s and life critical policies and proceduresWalks the floor to audit conformance to expectations, observe behaviors, gather feedback and address emerging issuesEscalates stewardship issues that the 24/7 team is unable to resolve to the Daily Executional Leader 

Quality – Quality to exceed customer expectations

Ensures actions are identified daily to meet the quality KPI’sReviews quality data to ensure product meets quality specificationsWalk-throughs, gathers feedback and takes action to address emerging quality issuesEscalates off spec quality results that 24/7 team is unable to resolve

Reliability – Provide guidance and set priorities to achieve the production schedule

Ensures actions are identified daily to meet the reliability KPI’sReviews data to ensure core production rate meets the KPI’s Walk-throughs, gather feedback and takes action to address emerging reliability issuesEscalates rate reductions and reliability failures that 24/7 team is unable to resolve Performs proper handover to the next Team Captain and Daily Executional Leader on emerging Quality, Environmental, or Reliability issues.

Engagement – People motivated to do their best

Addresses performance issues through coaching, counseling or disciplinary actionProvides feedback/recognition for exceptional behaviors and performanceIdentifies when training is needed/required for 24/7 team and ensures opportunities are available for team members to obtain the knowledgeCoordinates SOP, EIPs and conduct of operations documents updates with core and unit personnel Qualifications: Ability to work rotating shiftsHigh school diploma or GEDPrior leadership experience preferredAbility to build strong relationships and plan/align with the team.Strong influential leadership skills requiredStrong verbal/written communication.Advanced coaching skills.Computer skills in Microsoft Office required with SAP preferred.Strong organizational skills; ability to manage multiple people/tasks/processes.Self-directed, self-starter and ability to operate/prioritize with ambiguity.Shows high levels of ownership and initiative.
