Supervisor, Outreach Services

Job Description

Supervises and coordinates the clinical staff and daily activities related to the Outreach Services. Supervises outreach activities to implement quality, collaborative programming that meets the needs of the underserved community around access, health equity, and prevention. Facilitates community engagement.

Job Responsibility

 

Promotes Outreach Services department goals by selecting, motivating, and training capable team members. Leads the activities of assigned Outreach Services team members by communicating and providing guidance toward achieving department objectives. Implements, and evaluates cancer community outreach initiatives. Develops and coordinates opportunities to facilitate community engagement. Prepares grant proposals and assists in managing grants for various projects pertaining to community outreach programs. Implements the expansion plans of outreach activities, patient programs and research projects across the network. Implements a strategic plan for educational services and community outreach activities targeted to high-risk communities in the organization network. Performs outreach to referral sources to promote enrollment in the program; develops and coordinates opportunities to facilitate community engagement. Collaborates and build relationships with organization leadership, key stakeholders and  external organizations including non-government organizations (NGO) to promote program. Job Qualification

 

Associate's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience. 4-6 years of relevant experience and 0-2 years of leadership / management experience, required.
