Description Supervisor, NYSI (2026-8) OVERVIEW Supervises and manages an assigned team responsible for administering no-fault arbitration cases, including conciliation of no-fault claims; serves as a liaison between parties and their representatives. The successful applicant will have a hybrid work arrangement but must work from their primary residence within a 125-mile radius of our NYHQ office located in downtown Manhattan. The starting salary range for the position is between $99,600 - $105,500 with an annual incentive bonus targeting 10% of the base salary. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS + Manages data relating to case issues; identifies patterns and reports on issues arising from operation of the workload; weighs importance of concerns and escalates them to management as necessary. + Directly supervises team of employees in accordance with the AAA's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training, planning, assigning and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, and addressing complaints and resolving problems. + Collaborates with the leadership team to make strategic decisions and implement operations on program development. + Identifies and develops areas of opportunity for improvement; collaborates with the team to reach goals and reports the team's progress initiatives. + Collects data to forecast and track key account metrics; prepares various ad-hoc reports and data analytics. + Demonstrates expert comprehension and application of NYS Regulation 68 and 35D; applies concepts to NYSI division processes and procedures to effectively manage departments; ensures appropriate case management aligned with NYSI Division and AAA-ICDR goals. + Establishes professional rapport with stakeholders and internal associates; maintains neutrality; responds to inquiries in a timely manner; anticipates, troubleshoots and resolves problems to foster resolution and efficient case management; escalates unresolved and complex issues appropriately. + Provides high level of customer service; builds and maintains successful customer relationships; recommends changes to work processes to improve service; proactively resolves client matters. + Ensures confidentiality of case information and records; adheres to AAA's information security and data privacy policies. + Applies conflict negotiation skills to resolve cases and issues; maintains knowledge of industry trends and their potential impact. + Demonstrates regular, reliable, and predictable job attendance. + Attends required meetings and training sessions. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree in business, legal, or related field, plus 4-6 years of work experience in legal, related industry or court system; 1-3 years of prior supervisory experience preferred.
