Supervisor, Field Maintenance

What our Field Maintenance Supervisors Enjoy Most About the Role

Drive Team Success: Lead your team of Spectrum Maintenance Technicians to success through training and mentorship, all while ensuring quality and safety.Advanced Technical Skills: Put your skills to the test with effective problem solving and issue resolution to ensure network reliability. Complex Problem Solving Execute complex projects, monitor FCC compliance and maintain records to support operational success. Collaborative Environment: Engage with internal teams and contractors, driving project success and fostering a dynamic teamwork atmosphere.

Working Conditions

Field Maintenance Crews work outdoors in all weather conditions, at various heights and near power lines. You’ll receive support to build your confidence and skills to solve complex technical issues.


Required Qualifications

Valid Driver’s license with satisfactory driving record within company standards required.

Education:

Associates degree in electronics or related field, or equivalent experience. Industry and vendor specific certifications and training (NCTI, SCTE, BCT/E)

Experience:

3 + years of construction and/or maintenance of fiber/coax networks or equivalent experience preferred.

Skills & Abilities:

Fluent in English.Exhibit a professional demeanor, appearance and interpersonal skills.Supervise and mentor others. Stay organized and complete accurate documentation. Navigate company vehicles in various environments.Work comfortably in tight spaces, including crawling, bending, reaching and twisting.Measure distances accurately with measuring tape.Proficient in using hand tools.Distinguish wire sizes and colors.Safely use weight-bearing equipment up to 345 lbs and lift up to 90 lbs.Climb ladders up to 32 feet and work in confined spaces and at heights.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in relevant software applications and test equipment such as MS Office and RF test equipment. Advanced knowledge of HFC distribution networks and industry products and services. Knowledge of IP networks, headend operation and customer premise network.

Preferred Qualifications

1 + years of supervisory experience in a technical environment or equivalent.Demonstrated leadership qualities.

A qualified applicant’s criminal history, if any, will be considered in a manner consistent with applicable laws, including local ordinances.

The base pay for this position generally is between $73,200.00 and $140,600.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
