The Opportunity
This position works out of our Lake Mary, Florida location in the Abbott Heart Failure, Acelis Connected Health business. Our Heart Failure solutions are helping address some of the World’s greatest healthcare challenges.
The AR Supervisor oversees daily operations of the Accounts Receivable team, focusing on workforce management, productivity optimization, timely claim resolution, and first-line escalation support.
What You’ll Work On
Team Leadership & Training: Interview, hire, train, and supervise AR staff, monitoring productivity and providing coaching and performance feedback.
Workforce Management: Oversee time and attendance, productivity scorecards, workflow backfills, and adherence to performance standards.
Denials Management: Identify, document, and analyze denial trends to improve processes and reduce future denials.
AR Monitoring & Reporting: Maintain and distribute aging reports; ensure timely follow-up and accurate cash posting.
Process Improvement: Develop and implement workflow policies to increase efficiency and compliance.
Account Resolution: Serve as first-line escalation for AR collectors to resolve complex issues and payer disputes.
Ad-Hoc Analytics: Prepare reports and analyses to support leadership decision-making.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of healthcare revenue cycle or AR experience
2+ years in a lead or supervisory role
Strong understanding of payer rules, denials, and billing workflows
Proficiency with AR systems and Excel

The base pay for this position is $78,000.00 – $156,000.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
