Are you a seasoned litigation attorney ready to take on a leadership role within a dynamic staff counsel legal team? Publix Super Markets, Inc. is seeking a Supervising Liability Litigation Attorney to join our South Florida Litigation Law Office within the Risk Management department.

What You’ll Do:
Serve as lead counsel (first chair) in jury trials and support high-value cases as second chair.Supervise the liability litigation attorney, senior litigation paralegal, and legal assistant.Develop and execute litigation strategy including trial preparation, witness coordination, and legal arguments.Represent Publix in hearings, trials, and depositions across Florida State Courts.Conduct legal research and draft motions.Supervise litigation office operations and contribute to strategic planning and performance reporting.Coordinate with vendors including court reporting agencies and subpoena/records retrieval services.Evaluate risk transfer opportunities and manage relationships with external experts and consultants.
