Job Title: Superintendent of Construction
Job Description
Actalent is seeking to hire a construction superintendent, who will oversee ground-up construction projects ranging from $10 million to $30 million, with a preference for senior living project experience. This person will manage all aspects of construction from start to finish, ensuring quality control and adherence to safety standards.
Responsibilities
Manage subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring timely and effective communication and delivery.Monitor project costs and adhere to budgets, utilizing cost control and job costing techniques.Develop and maintain project schedules using MS Project or Primavera.Coordinate with various agencies for reporting and compliance with project specifications.Oversee field crew, including project engineers, foremen, and assistant superintendents.Ensure quality control throughout the project lifecycle.Implement and manage project safety protocols.Coordinate on-site manpower, materials, equipment, and logistics.Address job site challenges, such as weather conditions or emergencies.Essential Skills
Proven experience in managing $10 million to $30 million ground-up construction projects.Proficiency in construction management software, such as Procore and MS Project.Ability to read blueprints and supervise construction activities.Experience in commercial construction and subcontractor management.OSHA 30 certification.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with large ground-up senior living construction projects is preferred.Strong computer skills, particularly in MS Office for project documentation.Ability to schedule projects from start to finish efficiently.If interested and qualified, please submit an updated resume with your application!
