Superintendent - Data Center Job ID 227442 Posted 11-Dec-2025 Service line GWS Segment Role type Full-time Areas of Interest Data Centers Location(s) New Albany - Ohio - United States of America **About The Role:** The Superintendent position will work in close collaboration with project management and human resources to coordinate technician work force planning, resource dissemination and coordination, general oversight of field operations while providing technical direction to technicians, maintenance of safety standards, efficiency, schedule, ensuring compliance with quality standards, and having a strong understanding of the union contract. **What You'll Do:** + Provide technical expertise throughout the Pre-Construction process and participate in the Constructability review and assist in the Pre-Construction schedule. + May be involved in providing input in the pre-bid process. + Oversees and schedules all technician personnel across assigned geographies. + Follows and administers union contract regarding lay-offs and recalls and follow-up on late reporting of all timecards and maintain the process of having leads or foreman report daily timecards. + Holds team members accountable for the maintenance and upkeep of Direct Line fleet vehicles and equipment. + Work with PM on man loading scheduling, budget hours and materials staging. + Maintain daily site visits of projects within 2-hour drive from office, maintain bi-weekly site visits of projects within a 5-hour drive from office, and maintain monthly site visits of projects outside of 5-hour drive of office. + Keeps knowledgeable about the full project scope of work and communicate work order changes to PM and understand project specifications and drawing packages. + Ensure job safety requirements are understood and implemented by all project personnel and trade contractors, working with the safety support personnel as a resource. + Continually strive for Zero Injury on all projects and support and handle Leads with on-site safety meetings. + Will review and communicate the safety program and MSDS information in the start-up meeting and watch for and fix all safety hazards at the jobsite. Report all safety incidents to VP Operations, PM, and safety personnel. + Review the plans and specifications for constructability and construction schedules and advise the project team of issues or deficiencies simultaneously understanding project estimates and budget set-up. + May offer feedback and assist PM in quantity takeoff and pricing estimates and post project activities e.g., testing, test results, and as build. + Hold technician leads accountable for delivering and accurately storing information for all test results and “as-built" information at the end of each project. + Run, lead, and complete paperwork and process outlined in Field Career Progression program and forecast labor allocation for future work. + Manage all test results and finalize at the end of each project and manage all test results and inclusion in the project folders. + Participate in determining sequence and activity duration on schedules for proposed projects and maintains positive relationships with the client and project team throughout the project(s). + Advise and work closely with Direct Line University in the development and implementation of training programs. **What You'll Need:** To perform this job successfully, an individual will need to perform each crucial duty satisfactorily. The minimum salary for the Superintendent position is $90,000 and the maximum salary for the Superintendent position is $110,000. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on their skills, qualifications, and experience.
