As a Superintendent at Tutor Perini Building Corp., you will have the opportunity to:

DESCRIPTION:

Manage & monitor construction activity to maintain compliance with contract specs and company quality & safety standardsPrepare labor production budget & establishes & maintains labor control in coordination with superintendents & reviews cost reports with General Superintendent or PMReport cost codes and daily labor unitsInterface with General Superintendent to settle any union jurisdictional disputes that may arise.  Works cooperatively & proactively to maintain labor union relationsMonitor schedule with General Superintendent & Project Engineers, assign work to field personnelSchedule safety meetings and administers jobsite mobilizationParticipate in preconstruction meetingsReview & verify weekly quantitiesCoordinate special inspections as requiredEnsure subcontractors follow Safety ProceduresCommunicate job status to Project Manager and other management team members on a regular basisAlways represent Company with professionalism & a commitment to qualityPerform other duties as assigned by supervisor

REQUIREMENTS:

7 or more years’ experience in field construction and 3 or more years as a superintendentExcellent knowledge of construction, craft activities, cost control schedules & safetyAbility to work independently while working in a strong team environment.Ability to prioritize work to accommodate deadlines with minimum supervisionProficiency and working experience in Microsoft Office Platform. Experience with Prolog or similar softwarePrevious experience in construction of hotels or casinos preferredPrevious experience on projects over $50M is preferred
