Join a dynamic team to lead and oversee renovation projects at Mercy Gilbert Hospital, focusing on restroom remodeling and waterproofing improvements. This role involves on-site management and collaboration with fellow Superintendents to ensure project success.
ResponsibilitiesRead and understand specifications and drawing requirements.Oversee all aspects of the construction project from planning to implementation.Allocate resources for assigned projects.Supervise on-site personnel and subcontractors.Work closely with the project manager.Interface with project inspectors, subcontractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients.Negotiate with subcontractors and material vendors to obtain the best pricing.Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to plans and specifications.Essential Skills5+ years of Superintendent experience in commercial construction projects.Proficiency with Primavera and Autodesk.Knowledge of hospital construction, waterproofing, renovation, and remodeling.Detail-oriented and organized to supervise multiple restroom remodels.Good communication skills and teamwork capabilities.Field and subcontractor management experience.Scheduling experience.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.Previous experience supporting hospital construction and renovation, specifically restrooms.Knowledge of construction safety and safety procedures.Excellent verbal and written skills.Work EnvironmentWork onsite at Mercy Gilbert Hospital from Monday through Saturday. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $55.29 - $57.69/hr.
