Responsibilities
Manage security installation projects, typically involving 5 to 10 persons with values ranging from a few hundred thousand dollars to over a million dollarsConfer with senior management, supervisory personnel, owners, contractors, and design professionals to discuss and resolve matters such as work procedures, complaints, and construction problemsSchedule the project in logical steps to budget enough time required to meet deadlinesDetermine labor requirements and dispatch workers to project sitesPlan, organize and direct activities concerned with the construction and maintenance of structures, facilities, and systemsInterpret and explain plans and contract terms to administrative staff, workers, and clientsNegotiate revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers, and subcontractorsDirect and supervise workers including delegating responsibilities to Foremen and Technicians, and mentoring Technicians II and III to prepare them for promotion to the next career levelMonitor project budgets to ensure positive cash flow and to maintain profitabilityInspect and review projects to monitor compliance with building and safety codes, and other regulationsEvaluate Foremen and techniciansInterface with engineering team to ensure design efficiencyInterface with internal and external customersRead blueprints, schematics, and statements of work (SOW)Ensure PITCO build outs adhere to statements of work (SOW)Coordinate with field personnel and/or engineering team to discuss any potential installation issuesSuggest process improvements / cost saving measuresPlan equipment and material needs to ensure on-time deliveryPlan material location and storage to enhance project productivityPlan and obtain permits, badges, and access requests in advancePlan and maintain manpower forecasts in relation to budget and schedulePlan and actively track work to ensure compliance with project schedule and budgetAssist technicians with installation work as needed to maintain project schedule and budgetMaintain organized and detailed project records (Daily Work Tickets, etc.)Provide Program Manager/Installation Manager with weekly project status and schedule updatesInterface with customers to address project status and/or customer concerns
Qualifications
Clearance/Citizen Type: Due to contract requirements, this position requires U.S. Citizenship status. Active TS/SCI clearance is required. Ability to obtain TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.
Position / Candidate Requirements:
Requires a Valid driver's licenseThis position may require ongoing or intermittent use of a company vehicle. Selected candidates must possess an acceptable driving record in accordance to our policy.High School Diploma with 10+ Years of ExperienceAt least 7+ years of progressive experience in installation, integration, and testing of electronic security projects valued at more than $500kExperience in the Security IndustryAt least two years' experience managing security projects as a Project Manager, Superintendent, or Project ForemanExperience installing conduit and wiring systemsExperience with head end programming and testing of Access Control and Video Management SystemsCommon knowledge of basic Network InfrastructureExperience working with management systems such as scheduling, job cost reports, estimating, safety, documentation requirements, and quality control.Experience overseeing and approving monthly job cost updates, productivity reports, and quarterly cash flow projectionsProficiency in the Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling methodMust have a history of completing projects under the estimated hoursRequires reliable attendance at customer site during work hours required by customerRequires the ability to work a flexible schedule that includes occasional nights and weekendsStrong Oral, Written and Presentation Skills.Demonstrated background working with multidisciplinary teams.Demonstrated time management and organization skills to meet deadlines and quality objectives.Strong MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint Skills is a plus.Desired / Advantageous Qualifications
