Summer Seasonal Consumer Reservation Specialist

Penske is hiring enthusiastic individuals looking to gain real-world experience and build strong customer service skills this summer!

As a Consumer Reservations Specialist, you’ll be the friendly voice of Penske—helping customers choose the right vehicle for their needs while delivering an exceptional, memorable experience. You’ll use your product knowledge, problem-solving skills, and natural sales talent to guide each customer to the perfect solution, all while contributing to our department’s goals.

In this role, you’ll build quick rapport with customers, using strong communication and negotiation skills to resolve needs on the first call whenever possible. You’ll make confident, informed recommendations that drive customer satisfaction and sales while growing your professional skillset in a supportive, fast-paced environment.

· Base salary plus uncapped commission.

· Must be flexible to work non-traditional hours: holidays, nights, and weekends.

· Department Hours Monday-Friday 7AM-10PM Saturday and Sunday 7AM-9PM.

 

Primary Responsibilities

· Meet and exceed monthly revenue goals.

· Handle inbound customer service and sales calls.

· Make outbound calls to rental locations and qualified leads.

· Apply supervisor coaching and meet call-quality standards.

· Navigate multiple computer programs and troubleshoot basic issues.

· Stay responsive through email and Microsoft Teams.

· Complete and pass a 4-week paid training program.

· Demonstrate strong time management and punctuality.

· High school diploma or equivalent required.

· Strong integrity and ethical decision-making.

· Ability to multitask—typing, listening, problem-solving, and engaging in clear, upbeat conversation at the same time.
