Beyond your day-to-day responsibilities, you’ll participate in weekly sessions led by industry leaders, connect with fellow interns, and deepen your understanding of the financial services, technology, and mortgage industries.
The Network Engineering Intern will contribute to the design, development, and implementation of software solutions that enhance network infrastructure, automation, and performance.
Responsibilities
Build network automation frameworks using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principlesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve network performance issuesHelp monitor network performance and contribute to troubleshooting effortsPerform additional duties and contribute to networking engineering projects as assigned.Knowledge and Experience
Must be currently enrolled in a degree program at an accredited university, and be at least advancing to junior year of studyFamiliarity with programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#, C++) and development frameworksBasic understanding of networking concepts like TCP/IP, DNS, and infrastructure componentsExposure to network devices (routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)Awareness of network security principles and implementation practicesInternship Program Schedule
To accommodate varying academic calendars, the ICE Internship Program offers two schedule options:
Candidates will be asked to select their preferred session during the application process.
Please Note: Interns must be available to work full-time, five days a week, at our Atlanta office for the entire duration of one of the designated program schedules. Partial participation or alternate dates cannot be accommodated.
