About the Role

As a GM Customer Account Management (CAM) team support, you will contribute to the growth of the sales team, while learning the operational side of the awarded business and maintaining program metrics. You will lead and promote the development of an ongoing social media and track metrics, engagement, and shares/likes. You will collaborate with the team to support various stages of engagement plannings and upcoming events. In this role, you will report to the Account Manager Sr. Director.

What You Will Do

Sales/Pursuits:

Give a project to work on (shadow)- learn the “Sales101 stuff”

S/F updates

Pursuit trackers

Deliverables

Participate alongside sales re: GRO/other deck prep, sales strategy deck prep

Account Management:

Contract price tracker

Commercial Claims tracker / updates to Amplify

Prepare decks w/ Qlik data for SBU reviews monthly

Playbook for how to approach GM re: claims (to maximize collections, minimize pains)

7501 redaction work (as needed) for claims

Customer Event Planning:

Explore in August

Engagements planning

General:

CAM review monthly: topics, issues, opportunities - gather data, put together summaries

Competitive intel report prep, report out to CAM

BC reviews

Initiatives updates

Helping schedule meetings, book rooms

Social Media posting, other outreach

What You Need to Be Successful

Proficiency in finance terms, CM, EBIT, NPV, etc.

Proficiency in supply chain terminology eg. runout, ETD, ETA, etc.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, V-Lookup, formulas, pivot tables, etc

Well-versed in Linked In, social media promoting Harman automotive products

What Makes You Eligible

Must be currently enrolled in a related Bachelor's Degree program or higher at an accredited institution having completed your Sophomore year or later, taking at least one class in the semester/quarter before participation in the internship program, and returning to school for at least one semester upon completion of the internship program

Must have a cumulative 3.0 GPA

Be willing to work in a hybrid office in Novi, Michigan or remotely

Able to provide your own housing and transportation to/from work.

Must possess unrestricted work authorization.

Successfully complete a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment

Must provide full work availability from May 18, 2026 through August 7, 2026 and be able to work 40 hours per week

Freshman: $19.00
Sophomore: $21.00
Junior: $23.00
Senior: $24.00  
Master: $28.00 
 

Dependent on the internship offered, pay is based on factors, including without limitation, the applicant's level of education and business need.
