Steampunk is seeking an Accounting and Finance Intern. Tasks will be closely aligned with accounting & finance, but could also be associated with assisting our companies sectors and projects.

Contributions

As a Steampunk Accounting & Finance Intern your daily responsibilities will vary by project, but you can expect to:

Assist in various accounting activities such as Accounts Payables, Expense Reporting, Accounts Receivables and preparing journal entriesAssist with finance activities such as forecasting, monthly results & reportingContinually experience new and engaging opportunities, challenging work, flexibility, career sponsorship and mentoring, and recognition for your contributionsDevelop accounting and finance acumen which will make a positive impact on the company Qualifications

Required:

Rising college junior, rising senior or current seniorMinimum overall GPA of 3.0Desire to continuously learnStrong interpersonal, written and communication skillsExcellent team-building and collaboration skills with cross-function teamsAbility to learn new skills, tools and technologyResourceful in overcoming obstaclesUnderstanding basic accounting and corporate financeExperience with Excel, Word and Power-PointLocal to the DMV area  About steampunk
