Essential Responsibilities

Support the development of language localization pipelines for patient monitoring products.Support building and testing AI‑powered tools that improve translation workflows and data flows.Experiment with machine translation engines and large language models to evaluate translation quality.Run basic linguistic and functional tests to catch issues such as text overflow, inconsistent terminology, or layout problems.Collaborate with engineers, product teams, and localization specialists to support best practices.Contribute to documentation of tools, processes, and test results for team knowledge sharing.

Basic Qualifications and Requirements

Currently pursuing a degree in Software Engineering, Computational Linguistics, Localization, AI/ML, or a related field.Programming experience (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java, or similar).Hands-on experience working with AI technologiesCurious, self-driven, motivated to learn and approach challengesCollaborative and good communication skills, good spoken and written English and Finnish

Desirable skills

Familiarity with localization formats (e.g. JSON, XML, XLIFF) or translation tools/TMS platforms.Experience in NLP, machine translation, or data processingExposure to UX/UI or design considerations for multilingual interfaces.Interest in healthcare technology, medical software, or compliance‑driven industries.
