Number SWI-7528 Job Description As a Quality Engineering Intern, you will support the Quality Engineering team in maintaining and improving product quality, manufacturing processes, and compliance with internal standards and external regulations. This is a hands-on internship in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, ideal for students or recent graduates in engineering or a related field. Internship dates: May 18th - August 14th (dates may vary depending on local college calendars) Location, Schedule, & Compensation: In-office/non-remote Springfield, MA 40 hours per week Monday-Friday Paid The job may include but is not limited to the following: First article inspection (assisting Quality Technicians and SQE’s): + Assist in preparing FA inspection, and incoming inspection plans. + Help set up and run inspections on products or materials for compliance with specifications. + Analyze test data and summarize results for review. Assist in resolving quality issues: + Working on the manufacturing floor and assembly + Working with warranty + Assist with resolving quality issues utilizing FMEAs and RCA Process and Quality Documentation: + Update or create work instructions, control plans, and quality procedures. + Support the documentation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs). + Assist in maintaining records for audits and regulatory compliance. Cross-Function Collaboration: + Work with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to improve quality. Assist calibration of gages using various types of measuring equipment Updated 1/27/26
