**Submerged Arc Welder – Night Shift** Location: Jacksonville, FL Pay: Starting at $25/hr, with potential for higher pay based on experience and weld test performance Shift Schedule: + Monday–Thursday: 4:30 PM – 3:15 AM + Friday: 2:30 PM – 11:15 PM + Saturday: 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM **Job Description:** We are hiring Submerged Arc Welders to join our growing manufacturing team in Jacksonville, FL. This is a great opportunity to get into a stable company with a strong backlog of work, offering job security and long-term growth. In this role, you’ll operate submerged arc welding machines to weld both the interior and exterior of ASME-certified pressure vessels and tanks. You must also be proficient in manual flux core welding for additional fabrication tasks. **Key Responsibilities:** + Operate submerged arc welding equipment to weld pressure vessels + Perform manual flux core welding as needed + Weld both inside and outside of tanks (must not be claustrophobic) + Ensure all welds meet ASME certification standards + Work on units up to 13 feet tall (must be comfortable with heights) **Qualifications:** + Experience operating submerged arc welding machines + Skilled in flux core hand welding + Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces + Willingness to work night shifts and weekends + Must pass a weld test for ASME certification **What We Offer:** + Lots of overtime available + Job security with a growing company and strong backlog of work + Two annual bonuses + Yearly performance reviews with opportunities for raises + Pay bump once hired on permanently with the company + Opportunity to work on high-impact, certified systems + Stable night shift schedule **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
