Job Responsibilities and Duties:\n\nPerforms heading prep, blasting, and mucking duties. Determines the amount of explosives, placement, and firing of explosives. \nOperates underground equipment (loaders, trucks, etc).\nPerforms other duties as assigned from time to time at the discretion of the company.\n\n

Qualifications and Skills:\n

Required:\n\nMust meet and maintain qualifications for working with explosives per the Safe Explosives Act.\nWorking knowledge of utilities, services, and ventilation.\nMust meet the minimum Task Matrix Proficiency Levels for a Sublevel Miner 1. (See Task Matrix in HR Office)\nMust have long hole drilling experience. \n\n

Preferred: \n\nMine Equipment and materials terminology and uses.\nWorking knowledge of small hand tools. \n\n
