The Sub-Section Manager - EBC Materials & Process Engineering will be responsible for the materials & process engineering strategy for the development and industrialization of environmental barrier coatings.

Roles and Responsibilities

Provide leadership and technical direction for assigned program tasks and personnelProvide support council and recommendations to section managementEstablish work group goals within framework of section technical and financial objectivesMaintain broad awareness of efforts within group to assure technical quality excellence, timely completion of work and reviews, appropriate use of resources, and responsiveness to customer / program needsFacilitate communication of technical and business information between organizations and within work groupCommunicate with management on technical, organizational, resource and personnel issuesDefine roles and responsibilities for assigned personnelConduct performance appraisals and participate in salary planningPromote professional growth through timely performance feedback, coaching and counselingEnsure company compliance initiatives and training requirements are implemented within work group

Required Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Computer Science5 plus years’ experience in a program or project leadership role within an engineering environment
