Federal Work-Study Program:
The Federal Work-Study Program (FWS) has limited employment opportunities for students enrolled in a minimum of six (6) credit hours per semester at Mercy College of Ohio and have financial need as determined by FWS regulations. Supervisors review applications and interview students who meet the requirements for positions in their respective departments. Final selection is determined by the department supervisor and the Financial Aid Director. Placement in a Federal Work-Study position is not guaranteed.
If accepted for a FWS position, the student will be required to complete the Mercy Health hiring process. This process will include a background check, reference check and medical screening. Bi-weekly paychecks are issued directly to the student by direct deposit.

Demonstrate a positive attitude when performing assigned tasks

Punctuality (arrive to work at the time assigned)
Reliable
Keep confidential information regarding students
Work collaboratively in completing duties
Knowledge of Microsoft Office software (i.e., Word, Excel)
Commitment to following FERPA (Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act) policies & procedures
Financial need as determined by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
