Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Student Research Intern.
In this role, the successful candidate NYU Langone Health, a pioneering institution at the forefront of xenotransplantation and multiomics research, invites applications for a Data Analyst Intern. This exciting opportunity will allow the successful candidate to contribute to groundbreaking research involving the application of statistical methods to complex multiomics data sets generated from xenotransplantation studies. The intern will work closely with a team of researchers, biostatisticians, and bioinformaticians on study design, data analysis, and interpretation.
Job Responsibilities:
Support and work closely with the researcher, PI, biostatistician on developing, maintaining, and monitoring new/existing databases of multiomics data (including but not limited to genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, and metabolomics), resolving database issues, and optimizing performance for data extraction and analyses.Assist with data requests related to multiomics datasets.Support in analyses, summarization of results, conduct simulations, perform biostatistical literature reviews, and assist the research team in their everyday work related to multiomics data analysis.Engage in data checking, summary, and manipulation in consultation with data managers, principal investigators, biostatisticians, and other staff as needed.Aid others to develop, communicate, and carry out procedures designed to facilitate data analyses and interpretation of multiomics data.Maintain codebase on GitHub and experiment metadata on servers.Minimum Qualifications:

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $16.50 - $20.00 Hourly. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.
