Student Office Assistant
Classification Minimum Requirements: Currently enrolled as a full-time student at the UF with a minimum GPA of 2.5 Must be in good academic and conduct standing with the University. Must be flexible to work morning and/or afternoon shifts. Shifts are scheduled around course schedules. As a Student Assistant, you will be an integral part of our team, working closely with experienced professionals to support various initiatives and projects within the Student Life department.
Key Responsibilities:
Receptionist and first point of contact for the Office of the Vice President for Student Life.
Greeting and assisting visitors and guests entering the suite with a pleasant demeanor.
Manage incoming phone calls, take messages, and direct inquiries to the appropriate staff members as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
Use critical thinking skills and resources to assist with questions and requests.
Assist staff with a variety of administrative needs including event preparation, emailing, errands, and other tasks as requested.
Keep the main office area and kitchen clean (supply management, cleaning front office areas and kitchen etc.)
Hours are flexible based on students' schedules with availability between 8:00 AM - 5:00 Monday-Friday.
Expected Salary: $13.00 per hour Required Qualifications:
