As a student intern with our materials lab, you will perform meaningful, hands-on, real-world work that will transform your classroom experience and help you envision your future career. Your experience will involve assisting and performing geotechnical testing such as classifications, compressive strength, and one-dimensional tests as well as working with our geotechnical engineering staff putting together geotechnical reports and appendices. You’ll get an introduction to Olsson's culture that will help you evaluate our firm as a career choice. This position may occasionally assist with working in the field with our drilling team to learn how samples are obtained.
