As a 2026 student intern with our Construction Materials Testing team, you will be working in our geotechnical lab performing various types of testing and reporting on common materials utilized in the construction of projects. This internship will help you understand the impact that testing protocols and processes may have on a project. You will work with soils, asphalt, aggregates, and concrete materials and gain an understanding of the processes behind the quality verification of materials required to construct projects. You will also assist our construction and engineering project managers in putting together both geotechnical and construction materials testing reports. Opportunities for field work may be available to assist with geotechnical materials testing, construction observation, and inspections in different types of terrain and weather conditions, and on projects in various stages of construction.
