**Job Summary**
The Office of The Vice President for Research and Economic Development, External Engagement & Support Office is looking for **Student Assistants** to help with various tasks as needed. Hours can vary according to class schedules, with a max of 20 hours per week.
**Essential Functions**
Assist the Event Director with the following regular duties:
+ Assist with event setup and breakdown, including tables, chairs, decor, and audio/visual equipment.
+ Assist clients with pre-event planning, coordination of event setup, as well as audio-visual technical assistance within the Devall Room and The Boardroom at 540 at The Park. May perform these duties alone or collaboratively with supervisors and event operations staff.
+ Monitor event inventory of equipment, supplies, and furniture etc.
+ Monitor event space to ensure cleanliness and organization.

**Minimum Qualifications**
+ Currently enrolled as an Auburn University undergraduate student.
**Expectations** :
+ Must maintain a neat appearance.
+ Must be a team player and willing to help where needed with any project that comes up.
**Physical Demands** :
+ Must be able to lift and move banquet tables as needed.
+ Job requires walking, reaching, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling.
