**Aircraft Structures Technician: 2 months housing covered**
**Job Description**
This hands-on position is responsible for inspecting, servicing, repairing, and troubleshooting aircraft airframe and structures systems, composites, and components. The role primarily involves working on King Air and potentially other corporate aircraft, ensuring compliance with manufacturers’ and STC holders’ specifications, and maintaining accurate project documentation.
**Responsibilities**
+ Take full ownership of assigned structural projects, from pre-planning through delivery, following company policies and procedures to ensure safe handling of customer equipment, parts, and aircraft.
+ Accurately interpret aircraft blueprints and modification drawings under the guidance of the Service Crew Chief, coordinating resources and communication to ensure timely completion of repairs and modifications.
+ Assist in structural repair and modification projects by providing skilled labor and techniques, ensuring compliance and quality standards using approved technical data from authorized sources.
+ Inspect, service, repair, and troubleshoot structural systems and installations using approved policies and manufacturer documentation to resolve issues.
+ Record and maintain accurate project documentation, including daily discrepancy notes, maintenance sign-offs, and On-the-Job Training entries.
+ Engage in ongoing training and development to enhance teamwork, trust, and leadership skills.
**Essential Skills**
+ Minimum of 3 years of structures experience on corporate aircraft.
+ Experience in doing lockers on King Airs.
+ Proficiency in sheet metal and riveting.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ A&P certificate is a plus.
+ IA certificate is a plus.
+ Experience with structure work on GA and commercial aircraft is desirable.
+ Must have own tools.

**Work Environment**
The work environment is a clean hanger facility where you will be working primarily on King Air aircraft. The position is a six-month contract hire with the potential for ongoing contract work. Enjoy a first shift schedule, Monday to Friday, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milan, Illinois.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
