Job Description
Join a dynamic team as an Aircraft Structural Mechanic where your expertise in assembly and fitting of detail parts and structures will drive innovative solutions. You will work with complex schematics, engineering drawings, and technical instructions to fabricate and install parts on aircraft safely and effectively.
ResponsibilitiesPerform assembly and fitting of detail parts and structures, ensuring all components meet requirements.Engage in varied drilling and riveting operations using portable riveting guns, pneumatic drills, and other necessary tools.Read and interpret complicated schematics, blueprints, and engineering drawings for layout, fabrication, and installation tasks.Coordinate with supervision and inspection to ensure compliance with internal and FAA paperwork and quality specifications.Rivet structural assemblies and parts, ensuring precision and adherence to standards.Demonstrate the ability to remove fasteners without causing damage to structures.Essential Skills6+ years of structural experience2-4 years within aerospace industryProficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints or schematicsAbility to lift up to 50 poundsHigh School Diploma (HSD) or General Education Development (GED)Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in corporate or military settings is advantageousLevel 4 Mechanic skills in sheet metal, aircraft repair, and structuresWhy Work Here?

Work Environment
Work the first shift from 6 AM to 4:30 PM in a climate-controlled facility. All necessary tools are provided to ensure you can perform your duties effectively and efficiently.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Appleton, Wisconsin.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $32.19 - $32.19/hr.
