Seeking structures mechanic roles/structures assembly- they want 6-10+ yrs of structural assembly exp,
Aircraft door assembly exp preferred
Responsibilities
Work with blueprints, specifications, and work orders to meet quality requirements.Complete necessary data gathering to facilitate assembly progress.Set up and operate various shop equipment, such as squeezes and precision measuring tools, including drill motors and countersink cutters.Troubleshoot problems and seek process improvements.Perform rework or changes during the assembly process.Assemble major components of sub-assemblies, major assemblies, and smaller bench work assemblies.Move and obtain correct parts, materials, tools, and assemblies.Essential Skills
High school diploma or GED; or years related experience and/or training.Experience in basic sheet metal work, riveting, and assembly methods.Proficiency in interpreting blueprints.Strong time management skills.Ability to communicate verbally regarding work processes.Ability to write and record process information.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Six months of vocational training preferred.Experience using equipment such as forklifts, drill presses, floor-mounted rivet presses, and overhead cranes.5 years of complex assembly and structures experience.Preferred experience with Spirit, Boeing, Textron, or Cessna.Job Type & Location
