We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Structural Steel Welder to join our fabrication team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for welding and assembling steel components used in commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of welding techniques and structural steel standards.
ResponsibilitiesInterpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols to determine project specifications.Weld structural steel components using MIG, TIG, and Stick welding techniques.Operate cutting, grinding, and welding equipment safely and efficiently.Inspect welds for accuracy, strength, and compliance with industry standards.Perform layout, fitting, and fabrication of steel assemblies.Collaborate with engineers and fabricators to ensure quality and timely completion of projects.Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and company policies.Conduct routine maintenance on welding equipment and tools.
Essential SkillsProficiency in using measuring tools and fitting.Expertise in working with structural steel.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.Skilled in welding techniques including MIG, TIG, and Stick.
Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in fabrication and welding.Capability to collaborate effectively with engineers and fabricators.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr.
