**Job Title: Structural Welder**
**Job Description**
The Structural Welder will be responsible for welding and assembling skids for modular cooling systems. This role involves working with I-beams and other structural pieces to create large skids. The ideal candidate must be able to pass a 3G and 4G MIG root with Flux pass on a 1/2 inch carbon plate weld test.
**Responsibilities**
+ Weld and assemble skids for modular cooling systems.
+ Work with I-beams and structural pieces to create large skids.
+ Perform MIG and FLUX welding, including vertical and overhead techniques.
+ Conduct grinding and gouging tasks.
+ Utilize overhead crane for welding operations.
**Requirements**
+ 5+ years of experience in structural welding.
+ Proficiency in MIG and FLUX welding techniques.
+ Experience in vertical and overhead welding.
+ Ability to pass a 3G and 4G test with Flux and MIG on carbon plate.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Shop experience.
+ Experience in skid welding.
+ Overhead crane experience.
**Work Environment**
The role is based in a manufacturing shop that is non-climate controlled. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, with some Saturdays included. The day shift runs from 6 AM to 4:30 PM, and the night shift runs from 4:30 PM to 2/3 AM.

**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract position based out of Houston, Texas.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $27.00/hr.
