Job Title: Aircraft Structural Technician

Job Description

The Aircraft Structural Technician will work on the production floor in a dedicated cell, focusing on various parts of the aircraft as per their experience level. The primary duties include assembling sheet metal wings, riveting, drilling holes, countersinking, sealing, deburring, bonding, and dimpling components. Reading blueprints and completing work orders are essential tasks, along with additional responsibilities assigned by supervisors.

ResponsibilitiesAssemble sheet metal wings and aircraft structures.Perform riveting, drilling, countersinking, sealing, deburring, bonding, and dimpling tasks.Read and interpret blueprints.Complete and maintain accurate work orders.Execute additional tasks as required by supervisors.Essential Skills5+ years of Canadian experience in Aircraft Structures or 10+ years of international experience.Proficiency in Aircraft Production Assembly, specifically wings.Skill in sheet metal work.Ability to read and interpret plans and blueprints.Additional Skills & QualificationsAME - S license.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Located in Sidney, near Victoria International Airport, this is a unionized facility. The work schedule offers flexibility with two shifts available: 1st shift from 6AM to 4:30PM, Monday through Thursday, and 2nd shift from 4:30PM to 3AM, Monday through Thursday. The plant remains open on weekends. $40-$52 HOURLY.
