In this role, the Steel Detailer will be responsible for producing accurate, high-quality drawings and plans for structural steel projects while ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications. This position plays a key role in supporting project success by delivering precise detailing work and collaborating closely with internal teams to meet deadlines and maintain exceptional quality.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop detailed drawings and plans for steel structures using SDS/2 and other drafting tools.Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure accuracy and completeness of plans.Check and verify design calculations, specifications, and other technical documents.Ensure all work complies with industry standards, codes, and regulations.Communicate with clients and suppliers to resolve technical issues and ensure timely completion of projects.Participate in the review and approval process for projects, making recommendations for improvements as needed.Essential SkillsProficient in SDS/2 or other related drafting tools.2-5 years of experience in steel detailing.Experience with Construction or Architecture prints, AutoCAD, and structural design.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with structural engineering, design, detailing, and fabrication.Proficiency in AutoCAD, Solidworks, and CAD software.Work EnvironmentThe position is based in a new modern facility with working hours from Monday to Friday, 7am to 4pm. Flexible hours are available if needed. The job pace may vary during busy seasons. The company fosters a family-oriented atmosphere and organizes events such as Christmas parties and golf outings.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $43.00/hr.
