Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Structural Fitter to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for fitting and fabricating structural components to construct water towers and storage tanks using blueprints and drawings. This includes reading blueprints, measuring and cutting materials, laying out, fitting up, and tack welding with flux core. The candidate will also fit platforms, ladders, walkways, and other structural components necessary for tank construction. You will work with carbon steel, including channels, I-beams, angles, and plates.
Responsibilities
Fit and fabricate structural components for water towers and storage tanks.Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.Measure, cut, and lay out materials.Perform fit-ups and tack welds using flux core.Fit platforms, ladders, and walkways.Determine orientation and degrees for fit-ups.Work with carbon steel, channels, I-beams, angles, and plates.Essential Skills
5+ years of structural fitting experience.Proficient in welding with flux core and passing a 2G flux test.Experience in reading blueprints and using a tape measure.Skilled in operating overhead cranes.Experience with hand torch operation.***Must have good job tenure, provide a resume, Shop Work, No Field Experience this is a full time position in a production shop***

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $26.00/hr.
