Manpower Engineering is exclusively partnering with an industry leading, well-established and growing company in Waukesha, WI on a highly visible and direct hire/permanent Structural Engineer position that’s available due to continued growth and has strong advancement potential.
Industry experience is a plus but not required as the company is open to structural knowledge/experience from all industries and the desire to learn and grow in their industry. This position will work on projects from pre-bid through construction. Be at the forefront of innovative construction projects. Dive into a role where your expertise shapes the communities around you. The company is looking for a Structural Engineer with construction engineering emphasis who will have the following responsibilities:
**Responsibilities:**
+ Assess, model, and analyze complex steel, concrete, and timber structures on heavy civil projects in all phases of access, demolition, and construction.
+ Design falsework and formwork to relevant codes and standards.
+ Engineer temporary and permanent earth retention systems.
+ Develop critical lift and jacking plans required for safe operations.
+ Prepare relevant, clear drawings for use by fabricators and field operations within fast-paced construction timeframes.
+ In conjunction with Construction and Project Managers, solve engineering related project issues.
+ Review and update engineering standards for field operations and design.
+ Assist in responding to questions from contractors, public agencies and officials, or other stakeholders regarding policies, procedures, and practices.
+ Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
**Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.
+ 0-5 years of experience.
+ FE or PE is a plus.
+ Knowledge of/experience with heavy civil and/or construction (road, highway, and bridge) engineering theories and principles is a plus.
+ Prior experience working with computers and related software applications for analysis and design.
+ Experience with AutoCAD knowledge. Experience with Civil 3D, Midas Civil, Risa 3D, Civiltech Shoring, or Civiltech AllPile is a plus.
+ Valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record.
