Job Title: Structural Engineer

We’re looking for a Structural Engineer to join our Architectural Engineering team at our Wichita and Overland Park locations (in office). This individual will

assist with the design of a variety of projects that may include schools, churches, hospitals, hotels, office buildings, and other commercial and industrial

projects.

Responsibilities:

·       Assist with the design and production of detailed design drawings, electronic models, specifications, written reports, and site observation reports.

·       Complete structural calculations with different design materials, specifically with steel and concrete.

·       Assist in the selection of the appropriate building materials.

·       Prepare and assist with project proposals, interviews, and client presentations.

·       Attend client meetings to ensure the design meets their needs and objectives.

·       Provide leadership, guidance, and instruction to production staff.

Requirements:

·       B.S.in Civil/Structural or Architectural Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.

·       5+ years of relevant experience.

·       PE license in Kansas is preferred (or on trackto obtain a PE license).

·       Familiar with Structural Drafting software (Revit, AutoCAD, etc.).

·      ProficientStructural Analysis software (RISA, STAAD, Enercalc, etc.)

·       Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

·       Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to handle multiple project tasks. Excellent presentation, written communication, time management, and organizational skills are required.

This is a Permanent position based out of Wichita, KS.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $50.00/hr.
