Job Description:

Structural design and analyses of commercial and industrial structures as well as facilities in the Long Island and New York metropolitan areasWorking in conjunction with other engineers, designers and architects in our West Islip, NY office.10% field travel a year for construction oversightCurrent Projects:5 story concrete structure in river head2 story science museumAdditional commercial and municipal buildings

Mileage/tolls reimbursedWork Schedule: 4 days in office; 1 day remoteThey work on a number of large and exciting projects1 round interview process, & final decision within 48 hours

Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field5+ years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on industrial and commercial projects.Experienced with Steel, Wood, Concrete, Masonry, and Timber structuresSTAAD, AutoCAD, Bluebeam; finite element design experienceFamiliarity with New York State, Long Island and New York City building codes and zoning ordinances.
