You’ll design everything from custom homes to specialty steel components, collaborate closely with experienced Professional Engineers, and take on responsibilities that truly build your expertise. What You’ll Do + Conduct site walkthroughs and assessments to document existing conditions + Perform structural analysis and design for: + Custom single‑family homes + Renovations and repairs + New construction + Specialty engineering for steel fabricators + Create precise structural drawings and documentation using AutoCAD + Complete construction‑phase inspections to verify compliance with design intent + Work directly with clients, contractors, and internal team members to keep projects moving smoothly What You Bring + Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering (structural focus preferred) + 1–4 years of structural engineering experience + Solid understanding of structural materials and systems including steel, cold‑formed steel, engineered wood, masonry, aluminum, concrete foundations, and retaining walls + Experience with structural analysis and pre-/post‑construction site visits + Proficiency in AutoCAD + Strong communication skills—written and verbal Bonus Points For + EIT certification + Master’s degree in Structural Engineering + Experience with structural software (RISA‑3D, RAM, etc.) + Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects Why You’ll Love Working Here We’re an ambitious and growing firm that truly invests in our people.
