Strategy & Operations Manager
Uber
**About the Role**
We’re seeking a strategic, execution-focused problem solver to lead operations that enhance the experience of our delivery partners while ensuring compliance with Mexico’s evolving labor regulations. This role sits at the intersection of operations, legal, and product, and plays a key part in shaping how Uber supports Uber Eats delivery partners in one of our most important markets.
If you enjoy navigating complexity, scaling workflows, improving day-to-day experiences for earners, and using data to bring clarity to ambiguity, this role offers a meaningful opportunity to make an impact.
This is a high-impact position with significant ownership and influence. You will directly shape how we support delivery partners, maintain compliance, and drive operational excellence across Mexico.
**What You’ll Do**
- Design and manage operational workflows that align with labor-related requirements, including registration, contract terminations, social security payments, and benefits delivery.
- Proactively identify pain points in the delivery partner experience and lead initiatives to improve satisfaction, retention, and engagement.
- Collaborate closely with Legal, Policy, Product, Support, and Territory Operations teams to translate regulatory requirements into scalable, compliant processes.
- Use SQL, Google Sheets, and internal tools to analyze data, reconcile operations, and prepare structured reports for regulatory systems.
- Monitor and report on operational and compliance metrics, flagging risks early and recommending effective solutions.
- Stay informed on regulatory trends to help position Uber as a forward-thinking leader in the future of platform work.
- Advocate for delivery partners, ensuring their experience remains central to all initiatives.
**Basic Qualifications**
- At least 3 years of experience in operations, strategy, or other data-driven roles.
- Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional projects with high accuracy and measurable business impact.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience using SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Professional fluency in both Spanish and English.
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Experience designing, scaling, or improving operational processes.
