**About the Role**
Uber Eats is seeking a **Strategy & Operations Manager** to drive growth across our Global Grocery and Retail verticals, focusing specifically on Consumer Growth related Pricing and Membership initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies that optimize pricing structures and membership offerings, ensuring we deliver exceptional value to both our customers and partners. You will spearhead efforts to refine pricing models, analyze membership trends and drive adoption, retention and incrementality across the globe.
This role calls for a combination of analytical rigor, strategic thinking, and cross-functional collaboration. You will work closely with Regional Operations, Product, Strategic Finance, Marketing, Data Science, and more to build and scale growth initiatives that have a lasting impact on Uber Eats' Grocery and Retail business.
\-\-\-\- What the Candidate Will Do ----
1. **Pricing Strategy & Execution:** Develop and implement pricing strategies that enhance value propositions for customers and partners, while balancing margin goals and market competitiveness.
2. **Drive Membership Growth:** Build and scale membership models that drive user acquisition, engagement, and retention. Optimize incentives and promotions to ensure sustained membership growth.
3. **Data-Driven Analysis:** Leverage data and analytics to understand key pricing and membership trends, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and performance.
4. **Program Management:** Develop and execute end-to-end initiatives across pricing and membership, from planning to execution. Ensure alignment with regional and global priorities.
5. **Cross-Functional Collaboration:** Partner with stakeholders across Regional Operations, Product, Strategic Finance, Marketing, Data Science, and other teams to ensure successful implementation of pricing and membership strategies.
6. **Continuous Improvement:** Identify areas for optimization and iterate on processes to improve customer satisfaction and business performance.
\-\-\-\- Basic Qualifications ----
1. 1+ years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, strategy, operations, growth or a related field
2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience using data to inform decisions
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to influence and align stakeholders at all levels
4. Proven track record of managing cross-functional projects and driving results in a fast-paced environment
5. Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
6. Ability to think strategically while executing tactically
7. Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and data visualization tools; SQL experience preferred

1. Experience in pricing strategy, growth, or membership programs, especially in the context of Grocery, Retail or Marketplace
2. Experience working on global or large-scale initiatives
3. Familiarity with marketplace dynamics and consumer trends in the Grocery and Retail industry
4. Experience collaborating with finance, product, and marketing teams to deliver impactful projects
5. A self-starter who thrives in ambiguous environments and enjoys taking bold bets despite the risk of failure
